SHAH ALAM, AUG 22: KEADILAN Vice President Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali said that opposition parties can have a collective discussion regarding United Natives Malaysia Party (BERSATU), which is said to be eyeing several seats held by PAS and KEADILAN in the 14th General Election.
He said that there is nothing to fear, as it is every registered political party’s intention to participate in elections.

“When political parties are formed, they will want to compete in elections.
“This isn’t a problem but there is need for discussion. No political parties are formed to sit and watch from afar,” he said.
Mohamed Azmin said that KEADILAN also did the same thing by having discussions with PAS and DAP when it was formed in 1999.
BERSATU President Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin reportedly said that discussions about seats with other political parties would begin as soon as the party’s registration was approved by the Registrar of Societies.
