SHAH ALAM, SEP 5: The Selangor Muslim Youth Movement of Malaysia (ABIM) congratulated His Royal Highness the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah and his consort, Norashikin Abdul Rahman, on August 31.
ABIM Yang Dipertua Radin Muhd Imaduddin Radin Abdul Halim said ABIM Selangor shares this happiness with the citizens of the state and wish for happiness for the Sultan and his family.
“In Islam, marriage is a harmonious deed.
“It is a deed not just for the fulfillment of both couples. In fact, every family responsibility carried out by the couple is an act of worship,” he said in a media statement.
He added that as the head of the family, it is good to remind each other of Allah’s verse 6 in surah At-Tahrim, which amongst others reminds Muslims to protect themselves and their families from punishment in hell.
“ABIM Selangor prays for the His Majesty’s happiness and may the marriage be blessed and lasts till jannah,” he said.
