KEADILAN supports BERSIH 5 in demanding fair elections

SHAH ALAM, SEP 14: KEADILAN Deputy President Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali welcomed the organising of BERSIH 5 that will be held on November 19.
He said that BERSIH 5 was held to ensure that the fight for clean and fair elections would be implemented in this country.
“I welcome the announcement that BERSIH 5 will be held on November 19 to continue to fight for free and fair elections.
“Please give your full support for this gathering with the theme “Satukan Tenaga, Malaysia Baru!” he posted on his Facebook account.
BERSIH 2.0 issued a press statement announcing that it was organising a gathering demanding a transparent and corruption-free administration on November 19.
BERSIH 2.0 Chairperson Maria Chin Abdullah said that several convoy events nationwide will be organised in the run up to the gathering, beginning October 1.
“BERSIH 2.0 believes that not having a protest is not an option,” she said.
Meanwhile, KEADILAN Communications Director Fahmi Fadzil said that KEADILAN will mobilise state KEADILAN leadership to support BERSIH convoy movements in every state.
“KEADILAN has elected representatives in every state, Members of Parliament or assemblymen.
“We will ask our leadership through the State Leadership Council to mobilise members to turn out in force,” he said to SelangorKini.
