SUBANG, SEP 23: In conjunction with Kayuhan Santai Jalur Gemilang 2016, organised by Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ), several roads will be closed in stages beginning September 25.
MPAJ Communications Officer Norhayati Ahmad said there are 11 roads which will be closed, including Jalan Ampang, Jalan Kolam Ayer Lama, Jalan Ulu Klang.
“These roads will be closed for only about 10 to 15 minutes.
“As such, road users are advised to use other alternatives to avoid any inconvenience,” she said in a statement.
It was also stated that the programme will start from as early as 7.30 am at Ampang Point Courtyard.
The main objective of the programme is to enhance the spirit of patriotism, nationalism and love for the country, besides fostering closer ties between MPAJ and the local community.
