Tun M: Najib will table a misleading budget to fool the rakyat?

BY: NAZLI IBRAHIM
MALACCA, OCT 11: In his effort to retain power, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak is expected to do anything, including presenting a misleading budget in an attempt to ‘bribe’ the people when he tables the 2017 Budget.
Former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamed said that the billions of ringgit announced to be allocated to certain ministries in the Budget would actually be false.
“Soon it will be time to table the Budget.  Billions of ringgit will seemingly be allocated to ministries but later on, letters will be sent, telling the ministries not to spend the money as there is actually no money and will not be any money. This is because the government has no money but they just need to spruce up the budget.
“This is Najib’s style. The whole world acknowledged that Najib stole the money but his supporters still say that he did not steal any money but it was donated by an Arab,” said the Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) Chairman during the 1MDB – 1 Malaysia Dalam Bahaya Roadshow Series at Taman Paya Dalam.
Mahathir also expects that Najib will increase the Bantuan Rakyat 1 Malaysia (BR1M) amount in his 2017 Budget to in an effort to solicit votes in his favor during the 14th General Election.
Hence, Mahathir reminded the rakyat to not be deceived by the ‘sweet promises’ in the 2017 Budget that will be tabled by Najib soon.
