KUALA LUMPUR, NOV 20: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak can still afford to sing and be merry even though Malaysian citizens suffer.
KEADILAN President Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail said that what’s worse is Najib strove to deny the rakyat’s right to gather.
“While the rakyat suffer, Najib can still ‘shalala’ while the people face such pressures daily,” Dr Wan Azizah said in her speech during BERSIH 5 at KLCC yesterday.
She said that the rakyat’s support for the BERSIH 5 gathering is a symbol of the rakyat’s rejection of a corrupt and unfair government.
She added that the rakyat now has to be burdened to pay the nation’s debts because of Najib’s weakness.
She also urged the authorities to arrest MO1 and not the public who attended BERSIH 5.
