Prior to this, Dato’ Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali, in his winding up of the Fourth Meeting of the State Council, had said that free education initiatives are part of its Corporate Social Responsibility to the public.
He said the implementation was established in order to strengthen the role of the state’s Localising Education Agenda.
In fact, the RM3.9 million allocation to support qualified students of the Bursary Scheme programme, by sponsoring education fees of RM7,500 to RM8,040 per person, was made for that exact purpose.
