SHAH ALAM, DEC 22: The younger generation is recommended to involve themselves in entrepreneurship to generate extra income in keeping with current market requirements.
Gombak Setia Assemblyman Hasbullah Ridzwan said that the field could bring added value to youths in improving their economic status.
“Youths nowadays have a desire to be independent in looking for sources of income, not only in employment but in business as well. This should be used wisely as an approached to added value, and in raising their standard of living and income.

“As such, this field is turning into a good source of income, and more youths are entering into it and becoming successful in their businesses,” he said.
He said that at the launch of the ‘Basic to Advance’ Makeup Workshop, organised by the Youth Movement (PeBT) Selayang Municipal Council (MPS) Zone 2, with cooperation from Setapak Administrative County Chief Office and Malaeka Ventures & Make Up by Mya Syamyra.
The workshop was organised as part of MPS’s initiatives to encourage the community to take the opportunity in gaining a better understanding of the basics of makeup and beauty.
In fact, the workshop was also held to highlight the young women of the zone, who are involved in these fields.
At the same time, Hasbullah said the programme can be a good platform for youths, especially women, to develop and expand their skills.
