FAS President agrees to Tengku Amir’s suggestion of management revamp

SHAH ALAM, DEC 24: Selangor Football Association (FAS) President Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali is in agreement with Raja Muda Selangor Tengku Amir Shah Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah that the state football association needs a revamp.
Mohamed Azmin said he supported the suggestion fully and want those who are not able to contribute to withdraw honourably.
“I support 100% Tengku Amir Shah’s suggestion to revamp FAS. Those who are unable to perform the duties entrusted to them should give opportunities to those who can.

“Football involves sport, team building and the willingness to succeed and doesn’t involve politics.
“Even Tengku Amir Shah’s warning of the dependence on mentality of hoping for subsidies is timely and that is what we should do,” he posted on his Twitter account.
The issue involving the FAS management had even gotten the attention of Tengku Amir Shah Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.
Tengku Amir had posted on his official Instagram account that ‘orang lama’ in the organisation should withdraw honourably.
