MPSepang seeks solution for KLIA congestion

BY NORHAYATI UMOR
SHAH ALAM, DEC 5: Sepang Municipal Council (MPSepang) will discuss with the Public Works Department (JKR) to request all parties involved to find the best solution to reduce congestion in the area during the Haj season.
Yang Di Pertua Dato’ Puasa Md Taib said the new Tabung Haji Complex in Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) is expected to begin its operations next year and will cause traffic congestion in the nearby area.

“Tabung Haji Complex in Kelana Jaya will be moved here, and of course during the Haj season next year, will cause more congestion.
“We will call on JKR to discuss this matter in order to provide an alternative route for the convenience of other users. Drastic action could be taken by connecting it directly to KLIA.
At the same time, Puasa said that MPSepang takes the issue seriously and will make a thorough study of the implications to road users as well.
