SUBANG JAYA, DEC 1: Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) has spent a total of RM29,400 to equip Laman Sukan USJ1 with five outdoor gym equipment.
Subang Jaya Assemblyman Hannah Yeoh said one see-saw was also provided at a cost of RM3,300.
“This location was chosen as it is spacious and is the focus of residents who come for recreational activities.
“We hope to add more game equipment for children,” she said.
Outdoor gym equipment installed includes double-mirage walker, knee-lift, ostrich rider, beam jump and trio station.
The recreational centre also has a playground, net-ball and futsal courts.
At the same time, Hannah said that the public must have the civic-consciousness to take care of the facilities which are provided from the rakyat’s money.
“I have received complaints from residents that there are people who use the futsal court to ‘drift’ cars.
“Please don’t misuse the facilities as many people will be affected if it is damaged and can no longer be used,” she said.
