SUBANG JAYA, DEC 18: Subang Jaya Assemblyman Hannah Yeoh has donated RM10,000 for repair work on USJ13 Recreational Park.
Yeoh said that the aid included the addition of two exercise equipment for the use and benefit of the locals.
“As the area is a suitable recreational park for the public, our office agreed to provide the allocation to repair the facilities here.
“This process is a part of our early initiatives together with the residents’ committee to improve the facilities for the benefit of the USJ13 residents.
“The improvement and additional facilities will hopefully be used well, especially by the senior citizens to exercise in the park,” she told reporters at the press conference at the park recently.
She also reiterated her commitment to ensure that the area will be well maintained for the benefit of the locals.
She said this includes the initiative by the police and Rukun Tetangga to conduct patrols to ensure the safety of the USJ13 residents.
“My office has received complaints from residents that there were social problems like truancy, drug activities and empty alcohol bottles at the park.
“I take this issue seriously and my office has made a police report so that these problems will be tackled properly,” she said.
