Wan Azizah: Follow Rasulallah’s example in fighting cruelty and misappropriation

SHAH ALAM, DEC 12: The fights of Prophet Muhammad S.A.W against cruelty need to be the reference for Malaysian society to fight against a corrupt and embezzling administration.
The opposition leader, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail said Malaysian society is facing great challenges due to the norm of bribes and misappropriation practiced by the government.
She said situations get more complicated when the people continue to be mistreated at the peak of economic tension pressing down on the people.

“The prophet Muhammad s.a.w had a long struggle filled with challenges and various sacrifices.
“However, He faced it all with great patience and devotion.
“As Muhammad’s followers, it is our responsibility to uphold justice against tyranny, as the teachings brought by our beloved Muhammad s.a.w promises blessings and prosperity throughout the world,” she said.
She said in a statement in conjunction with the Prophet’s Birthday 1438 Hijrah, on December 12.
The Putrajaya administration under the leadership of Prime Minster Datuk Seri Najib Razak, is allegedly tainted with abuse of power and financial embezzlement of a government-owned company, 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).
He had reportedly received a sum of money and deposited it into his personal bank account, as well as has been associated to be the individual referred to as MO1 (Malaysian Official One).
