Water supply almost fully restored

SHAH ALAM, DEC 22: “Water supply is almost fully restored in all areas except two in Klang,” said Kumpulan Air Selangor Corporate Communications Department Head Amin Lin Abdullah.

He said that as of 7 am on December 22, Zone 1 had recovered 100%, while Zone 2 was at 99.5%.
He said recovery effort will now be focused on Kampung Rantau Panjang and Taman Cempaka Sari in Klang.
“These areas are expected to recover fully by later this evening.
“With that, Air Selangor would like to announce that the Scheduled Recovery ends on December 22,” he said in a statement.
Amin said they will continue to monitor the water supply system to ensure sufficient water supply and optimum water level and pressure at the main pipe.
On December 19, the Sungai Selangor Water Treatment Plant Phase 1, 2 and 3 were on downtime due to TNB maintenance work at the Bukit Badong Substation.
