The Jom Shopping Gombak Setia programme was organised in Giant Supermarket in Batu Caves, providing a comfortable space for the families to shop, from 9 am to 12.30 pm.

“The programme also provides a chance for me to do good to the elderly, besides taking photos with participants who will be celebrating Chinese New Year.
“This is an opportunity for me to get closer to the elderly and poor, besides reducing racial disparities,” he said.
One of the recipients, Kong Tuck Wah, 61, welcomes the festive vouchers distribution as it reduces the burden on the elderly in preparing for Chinese New Year celebrations.
“I am very grateful to YB Hasbullah for being together with the Tiong Hua community by giving out the Jom Shopping coupons. At least, this reduces the financial burden ahead of the Chinese New Year celebrations,” he said.
Hasbullah also took the opportunity to wish all Chinese communities a Happy Chinese New Year; and invited the Tiong Hua community to a Dinner Ceremony, in conjunction with the Gombak Setia Constituency New Year Celebrations, at Pasar Moden Taman Sri Gombak on February 10.
