KUALA LUMPUR, JAN 31: Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) has suspended Tan Sri Annuar Musa as its Chairman effective immediately.
His position as the Mara Investment Bhd (PMB) Chairman is also suspended effective immediately, reported BH Online.
With that, MARA Council Member, Datuk Dr Yusof Yacob will assume all of Annuar’s duties in the agency.
The decision was made during an emergency meeting held at Level 26, Mara headquarters, at 9am today. The meeting was chaired by Dr Yusof Yacob and Prof Emeritus Datuk Dr Abu Azam Md Yassin.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Dr Yusof said, Tan Sri Annuar have been informed and he accepted the decision.
