SUBANG, FEB 13: The Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) will extend the ‘ Bring Container to Ramadan Bazaar’ campaign this fasting coming fasting month.
MPSJ Yang Dipertua, Dato’ Nor Hisham Ahmad Dahlan said the campaign which started in 2014 has been followed through year after year.
“Love-the-earth campaign is still ongoing such as ban on plastic bags where consumers are encouraged to bring their own containers to Ramadan bazaars.

“We received encouraging response where more than 90 percent of residents welcomed this campaign.
“If there are stall-owners who are still stubborn, we shall educate them first, which is more important than merely imposing fines on them,” he said at the Subang Jaya Municipal Council Launch of Ramadan Bazaar Online Application for 2017 at the MPSJ Headquarters today.
He said, this year, MPSJ also continue to recognise 10 exemplary Bazar Ramadan MPSJ 2017 stall-owners who will each receive certificate of appreciation and cash money.
This year, there are 24 locations with 1,625 Ramadan bazaar lots provided by MPSJ.
