Download iClean Selangor 2 from App Store

SHAH ALAM, FEB 17:  The iClean Selangor 2 can be downloaded from the App Store by the end of this quarter, in effort to increase complain channels concerning solid waste.
The application, which previously was only available from Google Play Store, is a real-time monitoring system that can locate the complaint source besides facilitate monitoring and expedite response actions.
KDEBWM General Manager, Ramli Mohd Tahir said, since its launch last July, daily complaints received through the channel have been reducing every month.
“That is because contractors have been appointed to resolve the issues within 24 hours,” he said.
He stated that, as of January, there were 40 complaints received compared to 244 last August.
That was a monthly reduction from August (244), September (123), October (73), November (50), December (47) and January 2017 (40).
“KDEBWM managed to resolve a 100 percent of the domestic waste collection issues in MPK’s jurisdiction.
“Waste collection rate has also increased and has reached 650 to 700 tonnes a day,” he said.
KDEBWM also receives complaints from residents through phone, whatsapp, sms, email, fax and the Selangor citizens’ complaint system.
At the same time, he said that he will take-over waste collection and general cleaning which include road sweeping; grass cutting; garden, bulk and market waste collection in 19 MPK areas.
Meanwhile, he said KDEBWM is now in the process of acquiring the ISO international standard certification.
