SHAH ALAM, FEB 6: Four people died in a two-storey link-house fire in USJ 2 early this morning.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Operations Assistant Director, Mohd Sani Harul said the four victims have not been identified.
He said, all four were found after Bomba put out the fire at 6 am.
“During inspection of the scene, we found two victims in a bedroom and one more in a bathroom.
“Five minutes later, another victim was found in another bedroom,” he said as quoted by Astro Awani.
Sani said, the house was 80 percent burnt, and Bomba is still investigating to determine the cause of the fire.
“The victims were believed to have died due to inhaling thick smoke,” he said.
The fire was reported at 5.35 am before the fire brigade and Balai Bomba Subang Jaya team rushed to the scene.
