HIJRAH-SAY MoU to help young entrepreneurs

SUBANG, FEB 16: Youth in Selangor who are interested to venture into the field of entrepreneurship are encouraged to join the HIJRAH programme, launched by the State Government to help businessmen in the state.
His Royal Highness, The Raja Muda of Selangor, Tengku Amir Shah ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah said that due to this field offers not only a consistent income to the business owner but it also provides job opportunities for the citizens.
“The HIJRAH Selangor programme is an initiative by the State Government which not only provides the needed fund for the business to grow but it also creates the culture of saving money and it widely expands the network for the entrepreneurs.
“This is a good start as I believe that entrepreneurship is vital in society as it creates job and distributes wealth to others groups,” he said at the Selangor IGNITE 2017 Lauching Ceremony at the Sunway Resort & Spa Hotel yesterday.
His Majesty who is also the Selangor Youth Community (SAY) founder and patron said although entrepreneurship is a challenging field but success is achievable with the help from HIJRAH technical team and other experienced entrepreneurs.
Tengku Amir said that HJRAH’s approach is consistent with SAY who helps youth to be self-reliant rather than merely extending financial aid which is rather temporary in nature.

“I am also confident that SAY will be a platform that can publicise the information on HIJRAH more extensively and not limited to a specific community,” he said.
Earlier, he witnessed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) signing ceremony between HIJRAH Selangor and SAY, represented by HIJRAH Executive Chairman, Datuk Mansor Othman and his Chief Operations Manager, Roslim Md Akhir.
Meanwhile, SAY Chief Executive Officer, Izhar Moslim and his General Manager, Dr Johan Kamal Hamidon represented SAY.
