KOTA DAMANSARA, FEB 4: The state’s youth have been urged to register for the Peduli Sihat Scheme to get free hospital treatment.

“Many people are afflicted by disease.
“If left untreated, it will turn chronic and the treatment costs will increase.
“In the four months that I frequented the hospital, I saw many youths afflicted with various illnesses,” he said during the Adab Youth Garage di Projek Perumahan Rakyat (PPR) Kota Damansara launch.
Mohamed Azmin said the state government didn’t want youth to be hospital ridden till they lose their jobs.
“We want them to always be healthy as when they are, they would be productive which will benefit the state.
“If they are sick, then what will happen to their wives and children, we do not want them to lose their jobs,” he said.
The Peduli Rakyat Scheme targets those in the B40 category, those with a household income of under RM3,000.
