SHAH ALAM, FEB 10: Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) has issued 202 compound notices (NTK) and took action in seizing 12 vehicles against illegal waste dumping in the area under their supervision until December.
Yang Dipertua MPSJ, Dato’ Nor Hisham Ahmad Dahlan said, 61 NTKs issued under Section 4 of the offense littering in public areas.
“MPSJ issued 93 NTKs under Section 6 on the offense of not providing trash bins at a business premise, while the rest were issued under Section 12 of the offense of disposing industrial waste and trade waste set by the council,” he said.
Nor Hisham said all NTKs issued under Laws of Collection and Disposal MPSJ 2007.
At the same time, he said, MPSJ will continue to improve enforcement against offenders who throw garbage in unauthorised places.
