SABAK BERNAM, FEB 11: Pakatan Harapan (PAKATAN) has to retain the one-on-one formula in Selangor to retain control of the Selangor government, and to snatch seats from Barisan Nasional (BN).
Selangor DAP Publicity Secretary Ng Suee Lim said cooperation between PAKATAN and the third bloc of the opposition through this formula must be decided before the 14th General Election (GE14).
“I guarantee that we will possibly win big and garner more seats than the last election,” he was quoted saying by Sinar Harian.
Ng, who is also Sekinchan Assemblyman, said he was positive that this decision could be realised even though there are differences in opinion at the Federal level.
He said in Selangor, the wise leadership of Dato’ Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali is able to united PAKATAN and third bloc leaders to come together in the state government.
“I am confident the one-on-one formula in Selangor will be reached because of good cooperation and understanding among political leaders in the state.
“We are more mature here in Selangor,” he said.
He added that the rakyat’s support has increased due to the sterling performance by the state government in taking care of their welfare.
“There is outrage among the rakyat regarding several national issues such as 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB), the petrol price increase and the higher costs of living,” he said.
