The murder of Kim Jong – Altantuya, high-profile cases in Malaysia

SHAH ALAM, FEB 21: The death of Kim Jong-Nam deemed as a high-profile foreigners murder case equaled to the murder case of Mongolian Altantuya Shaaribu and Hussein Najadi, from Bahrain.
KEADILAN Vice President, Tian Chua said this demanded Foreign Minister, Datuk Seri Anifah Aman to issue a statement on the establishment of the Government of Malaysia to the international community.
“Malaysians are quite shocked to read the news of the murder of Kim Jong-nam or Kim Chol, according to the passport held by him at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA 2).
“This is a high-profile murder of foreigners in the country, and included among the murder of Altantuya Shaaribu (Mongolia) and Hussein Najadi (Bahrain-Iran),” he said in a statement posted ob Malay Mail Online Portal.
The Member of Parliament for Batu said, a thorough investigation should be carried out to ensure that Malaysia is not involved in the arena of international conflict.
“Although the murder is believed to occur before the immigration counters at klia2, the authorities responsible for conducting a full investigation.
“At the same time, the murderer must be brought to trial in Malaysia and not extradited to another country,” he said.
Earlier, Jong-nam reportedly at KLIA 2 to board a flight to Macau when suddenly a woman grabs his face with a cloth believed to contain poisonous liquid.
Jong-nam, who uses the name of Kim Chol, reportedly died on the way to hospital.
