438 students in Perak infected with ILI influenza

IPOH, MAR 12: As many as 438 students in Perak have been infected by ILI influenza to date, according to the Perak Health Department today.
“The total has increased compared to 414 students yesterday,” the department said in a statement.
They include 225 students from Raja Perempuan Taayah Secondary School and 115 pelajar dari Tunku Abdul Rahman (STAR) School.
Also infected are three Sekolah Kebangsaan Klebang Jaya students, 82 Sekolah Menengah Abdul Rahman Talib (SMART) students in Teluk Intan and 13 Kolej Vokasional Slim River students.
According to the statement, as many as 304 students have been isolated in their dormitories while three students are isolated at hospital wards and the rest are at their homes respectively.
Four samples tested positive for Influenza A (H3) and six samples positive for Influenza B.
