Daesh: Police detained nine suspects

KUALA LUMPUR, MAR 24: Police has detained nine men including a primary school teacher suspected to be involved in the Daesh militant activities at several locations in the country, between last March 15 to 21.
Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said, they consist of locals aged between 24 and 46 being detained in Selangor, Perak, Kedah, Kelantan and Johore.
The primary suspect who was arrested last March 15 is a Puspakom Sdn Bhd’s technician aged 27 and was arrested in Klang.
“Suspect is one of the ‘Gagak Hitam’ Telegramme group cell members (Daesh terrorist group who was involved in the blast at Movida Club, Puchong).
Suspect admitted to being involved in fund transaction to Muhammad Wanndy Mohamed Jedi to be used by Daesh in Syria,” he said in a statement.
