KUIS trains proselytiser and Islamic leader graduates

SHAH ALAM, MAR 27: A total of 181 KOVAJ students participated in the Identity and Leadership Camp organised by Selangor International Islamic University College’s (KUIS) undergraduates last March 24.
In a Facebook statement, KUIS informed that the programme is a part of its initiatives to inculcate positive sentiments among students.

“Among the programme’s objectives is to inculcate positive values in youth, because to be great, they need to live by religious principles and not merely focus on physical goals but also emphasize on spiritual content.
“The programme is organised to provide the opportunity to KUIS’s undergraduates to connect with the outside community besides reinforcing their confidence and ability to become Islamic leaders and proselytisers.
The motivational programme featured the theme ‘Remaja Hebat Hidup’ besides activities such as Mind Recreational Exercise, Islamic Fantastic Race, ‘Pening lalat’, Cultural Night, Self-Introspection and Heart to Heart.
“On overall, this programme gives a lot of positive impact not just to the participants but also to the facilitators.
“The programme’s basic objective is achieved and we hope the impact can provide youth with a new outlook in life, to become a great student, community member and leader,” he said.

In a different development, KUIS will be organising the 2017 Malay Islamic Leaders’ International Conference (PAnTUMN2017) this April 26, 2017.
The programme, jointly organised with Selangor Islamic Religious Department (JAIS) has the full support of Selangor IAIN and is open to all local individuals.
