Perangsang Selangor held blood donation campaign

SHAH ALAM, MAR 24: The Selangor Perangsang Group Limited (Perangsang Selangor) with cooperation from the Inland Revenue Board (KHDN) Shah Alam Employee Club managed to collect approximately 62 pints of blood in conjunction with a Blood Donation Campaign at the Perangsang Selangor Building yesterday.
Perangsang Selangor Media Relations and CSR Associate Director, Mohd Fauzi Mohd Ghazali said the campaign, held for the first time, attracted 240 visitors including employees and public.
 
“We surpassed initial target when we managed to collect 62 pints of blood to help those in need and replenish the blood bank in the National Blood Centre.
“This campaign is also a form of Employee Engagement programme to encourage them to support the Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives besides collecting points to be recorded in their respective Key Performance Index (KPI),” he said.
Besides blood donation campaign, there was also a health talk on eating habit, to give awareness to the staff and public on the importance of health.
The talk entitled ‘Food in the Modern Age and its Implications on Health’ was delivered by Malaysia Islamic Medical Doctors’ Association Chairman, Dr Hafiz Sulaiman and also attended by LHDNM Shah Alam Employees Club Chairman, Azmi Mohamed.
