SHAH ALAM, APR 18: Jalan B149, Jalan Kundang in Bandar Baru Kundang, Gombak opened at 4.00 am this morning after restoration work has completed.
According to the Public Works Department (JKR) Gombak district, a flash flood on April 16 causes the Bandar Baru Kundang Bridge damaged.
“JKR expect Jalan B149 will be closed longer after viewing the damage caused by severe flash floods in Kuang-Kundang.
“However, after inspection, we found out that its structure is still strong and unaffected, only the approach connector is badly affected then it could be repaired and opened much earlier,” he said in a statement.
Yesterday, JKR expect Jalan B149 to be closed for a week, but efficient job done enable restoration efforts be completed earlier.
