MammoSel continues to receive good response

SHAH ALAM, APRIL 24: Free Mammogram Screening Program Selangor (MammoSel) implemented by the State Government continues to receive overwhelming response among women across the DUN.
Recently, 90 women from DUN Kota Anggerik went for checkups for free mammograms organized by the Women’s Empowerment Centre (PWB), recently.
Through Facebook, the checkup was carried out in stages in Saujana Utama involving various ages.
The programme was organised by Kota Anggerik PWB Supervisor, Fida Viantymala Sakdin at the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA), Section 18 for two consecutive days, on 18 and 19 April.
MammoSel launched on 6 November 2010 aimed at providing services for free screening mammograms to all women in Selangor.
The programme improved in 2016 with the addition of follow-up ultrasound for those who need with the advice of a doctor.
It is fully supported under the Standing Committee of Health, Welfare, Women and Family Development.
