MPAJ Pandan Perdana Stadium operational by August

SHAH ALAM, APR 19: The redevelopment of the Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) Pandan Perdana Stadium, which started since 2015, is expected to be completed and will be opened to public by this August.
MPAJ Yang Dipertua, Abd Hamid Abdul Hussain said, the RM17 million contract is the administration’s provision for facility development.
“The construction which began in November 2015 is expected to be complete by this July.
“I expect the stadium will start operating by August,” he said in a statement.
He said, the development of the stadium ultimately completes the sports facilities in the MPAJ municipality.

The stadium on a site measuring 2.37 hectares is approximately 400 metres from Jalan Lingkaran Tengah 2 (MRR2).
The stadium with a capacity of 1,100 seats is also equipped with a 400-metres running track, football field and parking space.
Previously, a part of the mini stadium original site consisted of two Pandan Perdana golf driving-range building structures and a food court.
The State Government has gazette the site as an open space suitable for building stadiums and for use as football field.
