The speech by the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s pledge to bring prosperity to the country until we get to the top 20 position of the most advanced countries in the world makes me smile instantly.
While even Vision 2020 is not achieved, how would the country become the world’s 20 most advanced countries?
Are these mere ‘angan-angan Mat Jenin’ or Najib’s deam that are not logical? If the country is advance and developed but the people still backward, there is no point.
Our country certainly has a more advanced infrastructure on par with the other developed countries, but the mentalities of the Umno-BN Ministers are still in the stage of a third country.
It’s already too much ‘sweet’ expression planted to mislead the people by taking the property of the people knowingly. Also add retardation to this are, the countries scandals on various issues such as 1MDB, Minister and officials corruption of millions and billions that took the people’s money.
Umno-BN government also vowed to continue to fight for the fate of the Malays and Bumiputera whether Muslim or non-Muslim Bumiputeras. Does this pledge only to make the people feels good while billions are lost somewhere. In fact there is evidence of 1MDB money transferred into individuals account.
People today are increasingly miserable and afflicted with kleptocracy government under Najib Razak. Is it enough with the development that been widely said but the life of ordinary people are squeezed by the soaring prices of goods and the burden of GST?
What is the true definition of ‘modern state’ if Umno BN refers only to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita as an indicator, it is a big problem.
Indeed, progress and security of the country should be maintained from early if you want to go towards a developed country. Developed countries are not just economic development but also thoughts also need to be nurtured for balancing the movement progress of our nation.
