SHAH ALAM, APRIL 20: A total of 60 single mothers in Sekinchan received RM100 from the Welfare and Charity Organization Women Selangor (PEKAWANIS), recently.
Sekinchan assemblyman Ng Suee Lim said the assistance was to help them who are facing the rising cost of living, lately.
She said PEKAWANIS also never neglected the welfare of single mothers who need attention and support of all parties.
“This contribution is an ongoing initiative by PEKAWANIS in helping single mothers especially in facing the high living costs, including the increases in prices of goods and petrol,” she said, reported Sinar Harian.
PEKAWANIS chaired by the wife of Dato’ Menteri Besar, Datin Seri Shamshida Taharin.
In addition, Ng also presented the microcredit loan schemes Hijrah Selangor (HIJRAH) to people in the respected DUN.
