SHAH ALAM, MAY 31: The Batu Tiga State Legislative Assembly (DUN) continues its initiative to help women in its constituency by offering free Mammogram check-up.
Its Assemblyman, Rodziah Ismail said the service is kept ongoing throughout this Ramadan.
“To fulfil increasing demand for the service, Batu Tiga Constituency will provide this service every Saturday and no more every Tuesday and Thursday night.
“The change is to respect the month of Ramadan,” she said on Facebook.
The examination session will be held in KPJ Seksyen 20 from 12.00 p.m. to 3.00 p.m.
The offer is open to all women aged 35 years and above who reside in this state.
For registration, the public may call 019-2686879 or send their details to Pusat Khidmat Rakyat DUN Batu Tiga.
The Mammogram Programme is an initiative under MammoSel, launched in November 6, 2010, to provide free mammogram eaxamination to all women in Selangor.
The programme has been improvised beginning 2016 with the addition of follow-up ultrasound examination if required as advised by doctor.
It is fully supported under the Health, Welfare, Women and Family Development Standing Committee.
