Danishku Sayang Fund for chronic asthmatic patient

BY LIZAWATI MADFA
SHAH ALAM, MAY 29: The Menteri Besar Incorporated-MBI had recently launched the Danishku Sayang Fund to reduce the burden on a baby boy who suffers from chronic asthmatic since birth.
MBI Corporate and Social Responsibility Head, Mohd Jaafarudin Md Ali Al Hafiz said the initiative is a part of MBI’s effort to help Danish Iman Mohd Irwan, 9 months, who is forced to fully depend of the oxygen machine.
He said, the fund with contributions from MBI and its subsidiaries will be given to Danish’s family before the month of Syawal.
“Danish has to rely on the oxygen machine all the time and is free from it for one hour in a day.
“His mother takes care of him full time, while his father’s salary will be cut if he takes leave to take care of Danish, causing them to be short of money.

“Danish and his family is in dire need of help from the public,” he said to SelangorKini.
Last May 18, Mohd Jaafarudin had the opportunity to meet Danish and his family during the Perlawanan Amal Adik Danish Iman at the Matsushita Panasonic Stadium.
Before that, Danish was reported to be in need of money for a special milk formula and additional equipment for him to breath comfortably.
All other equipment to help Danish breath have been purchased earlier from public donations.
The public can contribute through Danish father’s Maybank account, Mohd Irwan Amir Hashim and account number is 114179467056, or CIMB account under his mother’s name, Wan Salmi Suhana Wan Majid (7602612700).
