Donors make State Mosque bubur lambuk programme a success

SHAH ALAM, MAY 27: The State Government is grateful to the donors who came together to make the recent Ramadan bubur lambuk programme at the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah mosque a success.
Dato’ Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali said the annual programme conducted at the mosque continued to receive good response from the public year after year.
As such, he said, the mosque authorities have decided to increase the total bubur lambuk distributed to 2,000 daily to fulfil the demand of worshippers and the public.
“Social efforts during Ramadan is something that is expected in Islam and I am thankful to all donors who were prepared to cover the expenses to make this programme a success.

“This programme received good response and this year the mosque has to prepare more than 2,000 servings of bubur lambuk to be distributed daily,” he said to the media after the distribution event at the mosque recently.
He said that the State Government also appreciated all parties including volunteers who participate to ensure the programme is successful throughout Ramadan.
