MDKL invites public to give feedback on RTKL 2030

BANTING, MAY 24: The Kuala Langat District Council (MDKL) invites the public to give recommendations or comments on the Kuala Langat Local Plan 2030 (RTKL 2030) draft.
Its Mayor, Mohamad Zain A Hamid said, feedback from the locals is important as they are planning a physical development plan integrated with environmental conservation and preservation in the district.
He said the draft will also consists of development concepts and four cores including sustainable physical and environmental development, competitive economic growth, raising living quality and practical governance.
“In this plan, we want to strengthen economic development based on beach, heritage, industrial, farming and existing resources in a sustainable manner and create a quality and prosperous living environment based on needs.
“Besides that, we intend to improvise the transportation system and infrastructure in a balanced and efficient way throughout Kuala Langat and implement a more effective district management system,” he said.

He said the RTKL draft publicity programme is in line with the provision under Section 13, Act 172 and will last for a month until this June 23.
He also encourages the public to see for themselves and obtain information directly from the exhibition, especially for residents of Kuala Langat who intend to carry out any development project or build houses.
Based on divisional planning, there are seven planning blocks covering 82,839.58 hectares for different land use and for future comfort.
Last May 23, Local Government, New Village Development and Illegal Factory Legalisation Exco, Ean Yong Hian Wah also visited the MDKL publicity programme.
