No early State Election in Selangor, State Government focus on GE14

BY: ERMIZI MUHAMMAD
PETALING JAYA, MAY 3: The state government rejected the possibility of an early State Election despite any changes in the Pakatan consensus at the Central level.
Tourism, Environment, Green Technology and Consumer Affairs Exco, Elizabeth Wong said, on the contrary, Pakatan will continue with the current mandate and remain focused on the 14th General Election (GE14).
“There is no possibility of an early elections as Selangor (administration) remains strong until now.
“We are always calm in governing the state and the issue of an early election do not rise and it is better for us to focus on the GE14,” she told reporters at the KEADILAN Headquarters this morning.
Elizabeth said, Pakatan is consistent towards the consensus to defeat Umno Barisan Nasional in the next general election.
In her optimism towards that, Elizabeth is also convinced that the consensus is able to reaffirm the support from the people in this country.
“The door is always open because our goal is clearly to overthrow the Barisan Nasional administration,” she said.
