BY: ERMIZI MUHAMAD
SHAH ALAM, MAY 27: The holy month of Ramadan can be observed properly through proper conduct in accordance to the Sunnah.
Noting that Ramadan is a month that offers a lot of rewards from Allah, Islamic Affairs, Malay Customs and Heritage, Rural Development and Traditional Villages Exco Datuk Dr Ahmad Yunus Hairi hoped that the Muslim community would use the opportunity well.
“Ramadan could be considered as a ‘Sure Pahala’ Carnival month and Allah SWT would bestow endless ‘bonus points’ to Muslims who preserve to reap them because such rewards would not be available any other time.
“With such rewards for good deeds done, shouldn’t we all be prepared to do more?
“This is the question I wish to ask each and every Muslim in this country and especially Selangor citizens,” he said in a statement.
He said that Ramadan this time around should be appreciated while taking into consideration the peace and prosperity we currently enjoy.
“It is all thank to Allah SWT because it is only through His will that we are given the opportunity to spend Ramadan Al Mubarak together this year.
“Ramadan is the greatest of all months because it is filled with wonders and benefits bestowed by Allah SWT to all humanity.
“As such, I invite and urge all Muslims to work together to do good deeds during this Ramadan,” he said.
