VEX 17 exposes UNISEL students to the industries

SHAH ALAM, MAY 11: University of Selangor’s (UNISEL) initiative to expose its students’ work outside campus through the Visual Art Exhibition is among the best strategy to expose their marketability.
Berita Harian Group Editor, Datuk Mahfar Ali said the effort enable the students’ ideas and talents in graphic and photography to be assessed by industry players.
This ultimately increases their career opportunities.
“Congratulations to UNISEL for still fully supporting arts in this country.
“The exhibition is also an important meeting point between universities especially the students and the outside industries,” he said in a speech at the 2017 VEX Expo Inauguration at the AEON Piazza yesterday.
Also present were Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof Dr Mokhtar Abdullah and Dean of the Communications, Visual Art and Computerisation Arts Faculty, Prof Dr Azmuddin Ibrahim.
The once-every-two-years exhibition is scheduled for six days beginning May 9 to 14 at the Aeon Piazza, Shah Alam.
