BY SYAZWANI SUFIAN
SHAH ALAM, JUNE 6: The Muslim Youth Movement of Malaysia (ABIM) is committed to simultaneously carry out its A Person a Bag of Rice Campaign (KSSB) to asnaf (eligible zakat recipients) throughout the country.
ABIM’s Deputy Secretary General, Maria Kameel said they are targeting to distribute KSSB to 7,000 families throughout the Ramadan.
“This is the 12th time that we are doing this campaign. Every year will distribute a bag of rice and other food essentials to those in need.
“We hope this contribution can help fulfil the basic requirement of asnaf families consisting of the needy, poor, converts and refugees to reduce their burden,” she said when contacted by SelangorKini.
