“This year, a special Aidilfitri assistance of two-month’s salary for all civil servants,” he said.
The announcement was greeted with cheers and applause from everyone present who came clad in baju melayu and baju kurung in the spirit of Syawal which is just around the corner.
The incentive will start to be given on June 21, with a total cost of RM63.3 million to 17,703 Selangor civil servants.
In the same speech, Mohamed Azmin announced that the State Government plans to pay another incentive at the end of this year, subject to departmental and employees’ performance.
