SHAH ALAM, JUNE 12: The Election Commission (EC) had failed to carry out the responsibilities as the management board election that are fair, free and clean when some action seems likely to give the victory to the ruling party.
Bukit Katil Member of Parliament, Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin said, after the EC almost failed to complete the redelineation of electoral boundaries due to objections in court, now the bodies launch ‘plan B’ to move thousands of voters from one area to another.
“The SPR should not have wait for the objections to be brought to court but is enough to stop the redelineation of electoral boundaries when receiving a large public protests since earlier when the electoral roll with the redelineation of electoral boundaries displayed.

Earlier, in an interview with Oriental Daily, the EC chairman, Datuk Seri Mohd Hashim Abdullah, said the agency may have to use the existing delineation of electoral boundaries for the next general election.
He said it was due to two cases challenging the redelineation of electoral boundaries which is Malacca and Selangor tha are still pending in court.
Mohd Hashim said the EC should not use the new redelineation of electoral boundaries without the redelineation of electoral boundaries in Selangor and Malacca.
