LZS helped more than 100 families in conjunction with Aidilfitri

SHAH ALAM, JUNE 27: The Selangor Zakat Board (LZS) cheered almost 100 asnaf (eligible zakat recipient), poor families through the Program Serahan Fidyah at Olak Sempit, Dengkil recently.
Through its facebook, LZS informed that the programme, with cooperation from Olak Lempit Advancement and Safety Committee (JKKK) was aimed to help those group if people with their Aidilfitri celebration this year.
Through the programme, every family received rice, two chickens, two kilogrammes of beef as well as lemang and rendang.
“The programme involved 100 asnaf and poor families and was held at the Dewan Jubli Intan, Kg Olak Lempit.
“Hopefully this small gesture can help ease their burden during the Aidilfitri celebration,” it stated.
The items were presented by Kuala Langat District Distribution Operation Head and accompanied by Olak Lempit JKKK, Borhan Aman Shah.
