PAKATAN’S “offer” can overcome BN’s TN50

BY LIZAWATI MADFA
SHAH ALAM, JUNE 5: Pakatan Harapan (PAKATAN) will introduce Tawaran Anak Muda (Tawaran) within two months with the aim to empower youth in this country, said KEADILAN Youth Head (AMK), Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad.
He said, this matter will be announced together with PAKATAN’s manifesto for the 14th General Election (GE14) and is believed to be capable to beat the Transformasi Nasional 2050 (TN50).
He said, Tawaran is more comprehensive covering policies such as free education for all and changes to the housing policy facilitating the younger generation to own houses.
“TN50 said that Bangsa Malaysia will become a reality by 2050 but PAKATAN is offering Bangsa Malaysia now in 2017 or 2018.
“There is no need to wait until 2050 as we will do it now, with free education, better housing and employment, if we are elected,” he said as quoted by Malaysian Insight.

At the same time, Nik Nazmi who is also the Education, Human Capital Development, Science, Technology and Innovation Exco is confident that citizens will accept Tawaran’s offer compared to TN50.
“Tawaran also includes proposal to make it more affordable for football fans to watch the English Premier League and the Spanish La Liga.
“Normal manifesto includes education, employment and housing policies hence we shall take the youth component and make it a package in Tawaran for PAKATAN Youth,” he said.
Earlier, Barisan Nasional (BN) started the TN50 initiative to get ideas from the youth regarding their desired policies in the next three decades after 2020.
