AMPANG, JUNE 28: The presence of His Royal Highness the Selangor Sultan, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah at the State’s Edulfitri Open House this Sunday will brighten up the event which will be held for the third time.
Dato’ Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali said, the event at the Padang Perbandaran Majlis Perbandaran Ampang Jaya (MPAJ) will be more meaningful when His Royal Highness Tengku Permaisuri Selangor, Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin attends the event as well.
“On behalf of the State Government, we are grateful as this is the third time HRH Tuanku Sultan has joined the public in the State’s Eidulfitri Annual Celebration and I call on all citizens of this state to attend the function which will start at 10 a.m., to celebrate Aidilfitri.
“Certainly, the event this year will be more joyous and cheerful with the presence of HRH Tengku Permaisuri Selangor, Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin Abd Rahman for the first time.
“Since Tengku Permaisuri grew up in Hulu Langat which is not far from here, surely it will be a sweet memory for the people of Ampang and Hulu Klang to welcome her,” he said.
He was speaking to SelangorKini after attending a briefing and site inspection for the Eidulfitri Open House preparations at the Padang Perbandaran MPAJ today.
Meanwhile, touching of the event preparations, he mentioned that he was satisfied with all the arrangments.
He said, the preparation is a success due to the hard work put in by everyone particularly MPAJ as the host this time.
