SHAH ALAM, JUL 5: The management of Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) has launched another initiative to enhance its customer service by adopting the Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) System.
Its Chief Executive Officer, Suhaimi Kamaralzaman said, the ERP system integrates operation processes and information flow to optimise resources such as manpower and assets.
He said, the existing legacy IT system is not integrated and unable to offer a holistic resources management and the required business analysis.

“The application was developed for a certain function and cannot be adapted to fulfil the current business needs.
“It is time that we use a world-class system which is created to facilitate its users to function and work productively,” he said at the ERP Launching Ceremony yesterday.
Suhaimi said, with the Oracle ERP Cloud system, Air Selangor will be utilising the best ERP module in class and industry.
“This system will operate with Oracle software that will improve business analysis and business intelligence for better decision-making and access to information,” he said.
