Azmin reveals key to Selangor’s success

BY ERMIZI MUHAMAD
PASIR GUDANG, JUL 17: Unity and economic stability supported by the Pakatan Government is the real key to Selangor’s success.
Dato’ Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali said, although there are various political sentiments in the Federal, that does not stop the state’s leadership to implement the people’s mandate.
He said, the unity has also allowed the state’s reserve to increase, in due course making Selangor the most advanced state in this country.
“Selangor is a model where everything moves on a common principle for the sake of the citizens and country.
“The stability makes Selangor continue to thrive. Although we are attacked by Umno Barisan Nasional’s (BN) mainstream media, we will not concede.
“I and the State Government’s leadership will remain resolute in defense of the people’s right for a government with honour and integrity,” he said.
Mohamed Azmin said, the success is proven by the state’s reserve that has reached RM4 billion, within two terms of Pakatan governing since 2008.

He said, unlike state government under BN, Selangor can become the best example of an advanced and competitive state.
“The state’s reserve has reached RM4 billion and it has also been announced at the country’s biggest Gross Domestic Product (GDP) contributor.
“It is not Johore, Sarawak or Malacca, what more Pekan (Pahang), but Selangor is the one driving the country’s rapid growth now.
“This is not something I create or an insult to anyone but it is the Statistics Department who said that Selangor contributes 25% towards GDP,” he said.
Mohamed Azmin was at the KEADILAN Johore Aidilfitri High-Tea Function at Taman Mawar yesterday.
Among the top leaders who were present were Johore KEADILAN President, Hassan Karim; Bukit Batu Assemblyman, Jimmy Puah and Parti Pribumi Bersatu Johor (PPBM) Secretary, Datuk Osman Sapian.
