Dato’ MB, state leaders attended Hijrah Selangor Open House

SHAH ALAM, JUL 12: Aidilfitri continues to be celebrated with the Hijrah Selangor Open House which was very lively and eventful with the presence of guests from all over the state.
The ceremony was held at the Hijrah Selangor headquarters compound and was also attended by Dato’ Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali and other state excos.
Among those who attended were Excos Dr Daroyah Alwi, Amiruddin Shari, Dato’ Teng Chang Khim and Seri Muda Assemblyman, Shuhaimi Shafiei.
Also present were Hijrah Selangor Chairman, Dato’ Mansor Othman; Hijrah Selangor Head of Operations, Roslim Md Akhir and his Deputy, Normaiza Yahya.

Talking to SelangorKini, Mansor Othman said the open house this time around also featured businesses from outside as an initiative to promote their food products.
“This is to give these operators a chance to introduce their products which thrived in the outside market.
“Nevertheless, this invitation is a part of a long-term plan between local entrepreneurs and Hijrah Selangor to take one step further in doing something different for our mutual benefit,” he said.
Hijrah Selangor is an Integrated Microcredit programme, conceptualised by Dato’ Menteri Besar, combining SKIM SEL, MIMBAR and WALA and has been implemented since 2008.
The programme under the Inisiatif Peduli Rakyat (IPR) is an Action Research Project that focuses on enhancing the economy of people in the middle-class category.
