MB : Implement quality development without leakages

BY: ERMIZI MUHAMAD
KAJANG, JUL 18: The State Government is committed to implement development focused on rakyat’s needs without any leakage which would depress their economy, said Dato’ Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali.
He said, development in the state is collectively done with cooperation between the State Government and the local authorities.
“Development brought about by the State Government must be of quality and beneficial to the rakyat with positive impact.
“It is not a development that destroys the environment, what more to burden the people with debts and tolls which would eventually affect them due to corruption and power abuse.
“I would like to stress that this leakage will not happen in Selangor Darul Ehsan,” he said in his speech at the Dewan Cempaka Launch and 2017 Kajang Municipal Council (MPKj) Aidilfitri Open House Ceremony.
Mohamed Azmin said, the State Government is actively implementing the Smart Partnership development plan involving private sectors and developers to achieve the local community development agenda.
He said, it involves participation from many parties to ensure the development agenda is implemented effectively.
“We believe that the development which we want to achieve is not merely the State Government’s responsibility.
“What is more important is the understanding between all parties which allows the benefits to be mutually enjoyed,” he said.
